Reviews for She's The Man, Too
Sear chapter 1 . 7/10/2011
This is so awesome, and hot, and intriguing! I love gender issues like this.
shadowglove chapter 1 . 10/16/2010
This was the movie that made me actually cheer (for the first time ever) a girl/girl relationship, and despite loving Channing T, I was bummed out when Viola ended up with Duke and not Olivia (or, with both of them). Thanks for this, it really wraps up the movie for me !
SmittyFirefly chapter 1 . 6/28/2010
This is a pretty good story, and it's really interesting to read that type of perspective for the movie, with losing sight of who you really are. I'm not going to lie, it was confusing with Vincent, and Olivia and Vincent's date... but other than that, the idea was good. I also agree that a relationship between Olivia and Sebastian wouldn't have worked, because it's Viola that Olivia fell for, even if she didn't know it.
Sheady 16 chapter 1 . 6/9/2010
What up? This story offers an interesting glimpse into gender performativity and identity. Well done as far as that goes. Story-wise, I'm sorry to say it does a bit more of telling than showing. Still, the commentary on gender, attraction, and so on is enjoyable. Judith Butler would be proud. Have a nice day.
Shally-wa chapter 1 . 5/27/2010
I read this first on the community bard_slash (don't have an LJ, so couldn't comment there), and I love it! I like all the genderplay, and you wrote Olivia really well - I could identify with her.
malexfaith chapter 1 . 5/27/2010
