![]() ![]() ![]() *rips hair out in frustration* Hello again, this is the same OCD weirdo with a piece of crap phone from "The Greek Problem." Yes, that review right below this one marked as a "Guest" is me. The one start starts with: "Damn. You have a thing for awesome last lines." That's me. :-) Sorry again, for the weirdness, but OCD sucks and it won't leave me alone till I do this. Love your stories. :-) Sincerely, LaylanatorXVII |
![]() ![]() Damn. You have got a thing for awesome last lines. Of course, you seem to have a thing for awesome in general. Lord, you are amazing. When Watson walks in and sees Sherlock holding the club ready to put the hurt down on that dude... I was just thinking, "If this were me, Sherlock would see me walk out to the other room, hear the sound of splitting wood, and then see me coming back rolling up my sleeves with a club of my own, and then I'd just nod, like 'Proceed.'" I'd be ready to dole out some hellfire and retribrution. Hanging is too kind for a guy who'll stab a kid in the back. Anyway, rant over. This was spellbinding and I love it. You are a wonderful, spectacular, fantastic writer and you make me sob with envy. :-) Thanks for writing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lovely. I must congratulate you on your exceptional story-craft. And also on your vocabulary! There were several words in here that were new to me - always a delight to discover! I am particularly taken with 'rataplan'. :-) |
![]() ![]() Perfect, simply perfect. |
![]() ![]() "I should have turned him." My god that took me by surprise in explanation, well done indeed! The chase was on and Holmes was stalking and being stalked very well by the way by the Dcotor. I'm such fan of the relationship, not the sex, if that makes sense. I find the sexuality between them a natural extension of their situation, natures, and that you captured this part of them with such realism, made me smile. |
![]() ![]() THIS if anything is really what the directors should be looking for in the script for the third Sherlock Holmes movie! Really, extraordinarily well written, everyone actually stays in character for once and it was really sweet and nice and stuff but yeah. Loved it! Be sure to write more and contact said directors! |
![]() ![]() ![]() "Strings cut and legs akimbo." That has got to be the best line there. This story was magnifcent. Excellent job writing it. The vocabulary and the dialogue all weaved within one another just making the overall story extremely enjoyable. I commend you for your hard work and vast knowledge of the English vocabulary. Well done good boy (or girl)! Well done! |

![]() ![]() ![]() I want to begin this review by saying that this story effectively reduced me to tears, in more ways than one. The tears are shed for entirely good reasons, I assure you, and I'd like to list them, if you'd allow it. The story itself, for one, is heartbreaking. Very rarely do you see stories where Holmes' investigations go awry in a completely bad way. I'd imagine, him being so accustomed to working things out as he does-with perfect execution-that his reaction would be quite like this, especially with one so innocent being the price. Obviously, anyone would be angry, but it drove Holmes to borderline insanity, and I adored that about this fiction. You captured his reaction so perfectly, it's almost as if this was a real adventure they shared, he and Watson. Not to mention, of course, the heartbreaking way in which Watson goes off to find him, knowing Holmes better than anyone else, and being unwilling to allow him to make any kind of mistake he would later regret. It was thoroughly touching, and it made me sad. What drove me to tears was that iconic last line. That entailing measure of doom looming over them; and how, in the morning after, he wants to shrug Watson off, not because he doesn't want him near, but because he's afraid of the eventuality that will occur, and how much worse it will affect him when it does. It truly hit me where it counts, being a reader, and I felt like I had just stumbled through hell and reached the light at the end. Really, it was a fantastic story and storyline, so superbly written. I adore your writing in this; I first read this piece so very long ago, and now, reading it again, I find myself feeling quite the same way I did the first time, which is splendid. After a while, I find that some pieces lose their flair with repetitive reading; but not yours, not this beautiful fanfiction. This has stuck with me enough to really move me, and to make me want to find a love as difficult and as boundless as the love shared between Watson and Holmes as portrayed in your fic. Oh, so lovely. I really have to stop myself from writing any more, so I will just say one last thing to you; thank you for sharing this work, it has inspired me more than anything else has in a long while, and please, never put down your pen. |
![]() ![]() I wish there were more writers like you publishing fanfictions. I tend to find a lack of any real skill or passion within fanfiction, but with yours I find an undeniable note of care and intelligence. I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed this story, despite the fact that this was so long ago and you perhaps are inactive in this community and will not see this. This story was dreadfully perfect and it almost brought me to tears, which very very few things have the ability to do. This was (more than) a lovely bit to read and I wish you would publish anything more. -sleepy |
![]() ![]() ![]() Absolutely fantastic! So wonderfully written: your style is very compelling and convincing, you really feel with the characters. Heartbreaking plot, but it ends so sweetly and in a way that only Holmes and Watson can understand. Superb! |
![]() ![]() ![]() WHOOOAAA! This is a bad-ass story. XD Awesome-sauce all the way. I had to google a couple words buuuut I'm proud to say I understood the majority of them. LOL |
![]() ![]() ![]() this was absolutely wonderful :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() So, you have me hooked on this fic as well. I'm considering watching Supernatural just so I can read your other fics, because, really, you're amazing at this. Don't ever lose your gift! \o/ |
![]() ![]() I think this was one of the best holmes/watson fics Ive ever read! You possess very nice writing style. Also the plot was interesting and characterization was just perfect, esp I liked your Holmes (: Thank you! |
