AgentKalGibbs chapter 5 . 4/4/2019 I quite liked this :) |
AgentKalGibbs chapter 3 . 4/4/2019 T_T My heart...! |
Teeshadii chapter 1 . 6/4/2017 It's frankly probably largely me being hormonal but you made me cry. And that was a really good story. |
Talktidy chapter 5 . 7/31/2015 Hi, Crikey, this is good. What a lovely piece. Tidy |
flootzavut chapter 5 . 3/12/2013 And, she promises herself, if – when – she makes it through FLETC, she'll celebrate her success not with champagne, but with a cup of coffee. With milk and sweetener. This made me well up a little, and I really love both Anna going for a job at NCIS, and Ziva appearing in the cafe. I don't think my feedback has been the most helpful here, but I liked this too much and have no criticism to offer! |
flootzavut chapter 4 . 3/12/2013 And yet…some part of Anna knows that reason has very little to do with it. That grief is grief, whether it's for a young West Point graduate from Montana, or a dark-haired woman who always smiled at the barista at her favorite coffee shop. ... So very true. |
flootzavut chapter 3 . 3/12/2013 "Anna Roberts." Anna takes his offered hand and shakes it, trying to ignore the way his piercing stare makes her feel. Damn, but those are blue eyes. And somehow, it feels like he's staring right through her. Snap out of it, Anna, she tells herself firmly. You're starting to sound like a cheesy novel. "You were asking about Agent Todd?" he finally prompts, and Anna realizes suddenly that she hasn't let go of his hand. She drops it, trying to stop the blush that's spreading from the base of her neck, cursing her pale complexion as she does so. LOL I would so embarrass myself just like that. And awwww... :-( |
Lady Detective chapter 5 . 2/9/2013 So sad! And so sweet! Great story. |
MeriSalope chapter 5 . 8/21/2012 a very touching and well-crafted tribute. thank you for giving us a stranger's perspective |
frodogenic chapter 5 . 10/26/2010 Nicely done! Anna came entirely to life. Excellent OC, and excellent story that delved into pain without wallowing in sentiment. I enjoyed reading it. Thanks for sharing! |
Elysynn chapter 5 . 8/4/2009 Very well done story. I loved the idea behind the story and the execution was superb. Your original character was nicely developed - she had history, personality, depth and it was all achieved in a very economic fashion. Thanks for sharing... this really was an excellent piece of work. -E |
NCISgirl1527 chapter 5 . 6/21/2009 I liked the entire story but i think that the ending was really amazing. |
Kylen chapter 5 . 5/1/2009 I learned a very important lesson a few years into fic writing - sometimes, less is more. :) Sometimes, a story screams for simplicity and sometimes especially it screams for the everyday gestures and normal interactions we build our lives on. This fic is all of that - and more. You created a wonderful original character, and then let NCIS fill in around her. Beautiful work, and kudos. I love stories like this, where every day life reminds us of the little relationships we form. |
iamscully chapter 5 . 10/26/2008 this is really fabulous! you are such a good writer! the idea is fantastic-how even the simplest encounters can affect people's lives, sometimes in completely unexpected ways. it is so well written, the details so well thought out-the way anna guesses her customers' orders, the story of katie the sister and why the 22nd is worst than the 21st, the interactions between kate and anna, gibbs and anna, the scene in the church (nice tie to kate's catholicism as well), the way you tied in details from the show-tony's illness, for example. i really liked that anna decides to apply for ncis-and that the fact that she impulsively thinks of doing it is out-of-character for her. makes it more important that way. really a beautiful story. |
bookworm45 chapter 5 . 10/18/2008 You did a lovely job on this fic. It was so sweet. |
