Love the imagery and flow of this, enjoying the poetic horror.

I really liked this story! I could feel the desperation and determination as Dean tried to hang on. It made me so sad to think of him calling John again and again, though at least this time there was a real reason for his dad not to answer.

Ah. Loved the way you resolved this. We got the rest of the story from someone who wasn't running on three days of no sleep. Understood why John hadn't returned the calls and thankfully Bobby and Sam dropped everything and ran. It's good that Sam and Dean were talking again, even if it was under such terrible circumstances.

Again, your style fits the story perfectly and made me tense and tired and desperate just reading through it. The way you're building up the action is really great. Almost don't want to leave a review here in the rush to get to the second part!

I apologize for not reviewing sooner. This has been in my favorites list forever, but I was too lazy to tell you how much I loved it. After re-reading this little fic tonight, I just couldn't contain myself. What a wonderfully suspenseful story, full of so much yummy hurty-Dean and brotherly angst. Great job!

I loveloveloved that! I loved the hurt!Dean and man I felt sorry for him! I'm suffering from Insomnia some nights myself and I got used to it - but man, sometimes I still hate it and it'S really I felt so sorry and desperate for Dean. You captured him pretty well though and I loved the way you let all things be about Dean - know what I mean? It was like nobody was there for him at first, but then the whole world was turning around Dean (like it really SHOULD be *lol*) - Bobby was there and Caleb and also John in a way and so was Sammy...*sighs happily*

By the way - I really didn't expect Sam coming and I was like "No WAY! I thought Bobby would come...uh, Sam has red eyes...uh, that's NOT Sammy!" ...So, you got me surprised there!

"Tubes would go flying, doctors would be cursed at, and Winchester would limp right out of the hospital with his ass hanging out the back of his gown."

- That, right there - was the Supernatural-ly humor and I it just cracked me up, I started laughing as if I was a little silly kid, because DUDE, this image in front of my eyes! *ROFL*

And the end got me squeeing!

I couldn't just perfectly SEE this scene I felt like I was IN the scene WITH Dean.

And GUH. The desperation as he calls his father and Bobby and then Sammy . . . *feels heart ripped out of chest and can only watch as it is thrown to the ground and stomped on*

AND THEN THE END . . . OMD. WHERE HE-AND I-BOTH THOUGHT DEAN HAD GOTTEN A BREAK, BUT THEN THEY EYES GO RED AND NOW I'M NOT SURE.

I WAS GETTING ALL WARM AND FUZZY AND HAPPY AND NOW IT'S ALL COLD AND DARK AND POKY.
