I just read the whole story straight through...and am still recovering from the intensity. The characters and their reactions seemed really right. They are both very subtle, self -contained characters but this story felt like looking behind the scenes. Also, you did a great job showing Gil being supportive to Sara. It can be very tricky to watch a loved one deal with something traumatic-you wrote Gil as handling it really well; he was emotionally present but was able to step back and let her be as much in control of the situation as possible. Obviously this is fiction but it is still nice to see someone getting that balance right.

I loved greg in that last paragraph! Great story so far.
