| problematic spiral chapter 1 . 11/7/2018 this is painfully true, a lot of Jily fanfics usually act like this, it's a clinche. That aside, this was pretty amazing. |
| Guest chapter 1 . 7/27/2018 The most cliche story line of the James and Lily fics is when James suddenly gets a girlfriend right as Lily realizes she fancies him! I prefer fics that follow cannon closely so it just doesn’t make sense to me when he has a girlfriend before they get together in the seventh year when they’re cannonically together by the holidays because they double date with The Dursleys. |

| 27Vespertine chapter 1 . 12/5/2017 Heheh. Okay I feel like it's not polite to laugh at these things and I do feel al little bad that I did laugh (a lot), because it's so true? Somehow you nailed it all to a T! I still have to finish this one chapter, but after reading your precise analysis of LilyOC1OC2 I went straight for the comment box, because sadly, it's true! And well, even the best writers fall into that trap sometimes, I guess, but... yeah. I wanted to copy some sentences in here that really made me laugh or say "oh, true!", but I would end up showing you almost everything. But I agree most with the descriptions and pairings of the best friends (especially in how the OC's look), and with the fact that most writers hate Peter and thus don't even bother including him into the story as a normal, respectable character. That mostly makes me sad, because he wouldn't be their friend if he was this horrible person to begin with, right? :( Anyway. Feel a bit bad for laughing and agreeing, but also happy that it made me smile. |
