Forget Kartik/Gemma, Simon/Gemma is certainly more of an interesting pairing, in my humble opinion. This was written exceptionally well, and offered a wonderful look into Simon's mind. He seems to be quite a forgotten character, while I think there is so much one could do with him. Great story!

i don't really like simon, but this fic has definitely made me warm up to him a little. it's an interesting take on things. i really liked it.

I love your writing so much that I decided to read this even though I'm very upset with you for the ending of Old Secrets. And of course, even though I'm angry with you, your writing is still excellent! Keep up with the good writing, especially on Old Secrets...hint hint...

A Simon story (where he's not the bad guy); now I am content :) You're right, he TOTALLY deserves redemption.

I like this story, very well written and as stated before you showed a different side of Simon. I agree he's not really a bad guy but I think (in the story) portrayed as a 1 sided character and in your story you gave him more character. I must say well done.

P.s I think there should be more Gemma x Simon stories, not because I do not like Karma but because its "refreshing" to read something else than Karma.

ya that was really good kinda sad for simon but really good. and i dont hate simon i really kinda had a cruch on him in the begining but after geting to know him more i saw that he wasnt right for gemma and thats y i dont like the ones were simon get gemma because there so rong 4 each other. i gust heve a thing 4 kartik 2 i guess. oh well that probably made no sence at all but its kind of hard to put whut gos on in my brane into words my branes a mess! well ttfn luv ya byes kis kis bite and all that jass

Wow... that's all I can say. THat was really good. In the book you only see Simon as a prick but it was really nice to see a different side of him. Excellent word choice and it really flowed well. Bravo!

Ahh, I loved this! It showed a real sensitive side of Simon. I've read another one-shot similar to this that I quite liked, but he was so different in it. (It was just about similar things.) And I wrote one-but it still portray shim so differently!

I LOVED this story! I especially liked how you portrayed Simon, revealing his flaws to simply be insecurities. I've always had a soft spot for him, even if he's not Kartik.

I know what you mean. It's like the authors make you really have a soft spot for the characters like Jacob (in Twilight) and Simon, but you feel bad for them because you know that they won't get the girl. This was really good though. Now, you're making me want to go and write something! Great job, though. ta ta for now!
