You know - we all have a time in our busy lives where we need to just be by ourself and do what we want when we want - a chance to be on our own - even from the ones we love most. And, you've captured this wonderfully thru Hutch's POV. These guys are with each other A LOT and go thru a lot together so, especially Hutch, needs some space. But, even in his heart, he rounds back to Starsky and I love the way you have shown that. Even though Hutch has put physical space between him and his friend, they are always together and connected thru love and friendship. Which is why by the end of the week - they are together again! I do love this story - so many layers to it. Thanks!

I am sooooooooo glad you (was it you?) posted the link to this on F I'd have missed it, otherwise, and that would have been a shame! I believed every word of this little gem: Hutch's reasons for needing a break from Starsky, but then talking to him all the time; seeing things he knows Starsky would enjoy; and, ultimately, wanting to share those things with him.
