Well, of course he is. But he is merely an ambitious teen with very good skills and talent.
It would be unnatural if he wasn't overly proud - named arrogant - under these circumstances.

It would have been my dream as well to defeat the newcomer with (possibly exaggerated) skills.

I like this story - it gives me an easier access to SoIAF than Wolf of Westeros (less persons to get to know at a time) beside of the story itself. I'm glad to see that Geralt and Tywin found a way to get along and am looking forward to the next chapters.

The story is still interesting, but I'm gonna have to say that white wolf of westeros is still the better fic.

However don't let that bum you down. Please continue and I hope more readers discover your fic.

I've been reading this on space battle.

The only way for Jamie to fully reject his arrogance is to have it beat it out of him almost every hour of every day. Not just with blunt instruments, but fisticuffs, and just getting down and dirty in the mud. Otherwise, a person like Jamie, with a powerful father and increadible wealth, would never change.
