I just get so sad every time I think about how they wrote Alex off and messed up his character. Greys anatomy’s final episode for me is Alex’s last. So thank you for this!

This story was everything I’d ever hoped it would be an more! Please don’t ever get over jolex and keep writing about them!

Hey came over from tumblr and yep saw your post / I understand the frustration completely that would be so incredibly annoying, especially happening over and over again. You (and the other writers) have every right to feel that way and I'm not trying to argue that in any way shape or form / You write and I read and its your hard work and ideas and It's not fair to overlook them and just demand more without even acknowledging the work that was done / It wasn't my intention to make you feel as if you are being ungrateful about the spam reviews at all - you're the only thing keeping this fandom alive now that krista has turned her back on us - so however long it takes for you to do so is none of my concern / The reason I brought it up is because 1) I noticed based on the timings between my reviews and some of the suggestion of spam & hiding fake insults in between spam that was posted on tumblr that people were referring to me and 2) I received a private message on an ao3 comment saying the compliments didn't mean anything if I was being disrespectful before (but I hadn't made any previous reviews before that one) ... because of those things I really just wanted to make sure you knew that everything I ever say is said with 100% geniality and my long review on 'third times a charm' wasn't meant to be sneaky I am not doubting that there is someone spamming because I went through the comments and saw! I just wanted to reassure YOU specially that the spammer and MY reviews aren't the same person and it wasn't my intention AT ALL to 'write lovely comments around the request to update quicker' / I talk wayyyyyyyy too much to leave a 3 word review - that's way too out of character. Like have you seen this message? All I came to say was that me (the recent review on your other fic) has never commented on this fic before so I wasn't being fake just to get what I wanted ; (and in my word vomit style It has turned into a inter website paragraph exchange so eek i think i just need to disable my tumblr app for the month ) / I really truly was trying to tell you how much i loved your writing! Firstly, thank you for this. For some strange reason I had missed that this fic even existed so when it just came up on my home page it was amazing to have not just one, but TWELVE to binge in one go. I enjoyed reading this because seeing Jo happy in a life without Alex helped me to be ok with it myself. But it was still the perfect amount of jolex interactions.

Second, I'm a bit confused about what you mean with spamming, only because I have seen other writers get upset about a similar thing.
Me and my sister have both been leaving pretty long comments on some stories from another jolex writer (i think their name is like docpickles on tumblr) and we sometimes mentioned an update but it wasn't to make it faster but its usually only when the writer says they aren't sure about it so i try to encourage and show that people enjoyed it so that they don't stop writing thinking no one wants more.
Yesterday I saw the tumblr post complaining about the other writers fanfiction and me and my sister assumed it was about us because collectively we had done three comments on one chapter (she did one review, i did one, and then i did another with a prompt because i didn't know how to private message) and since we share a email we thought that's what you saw ... but then i commented on fanfic i'd never read before and got a pm asking to stop spamming but neither me or my sister had done the other comments.
I'll apologise from both of us that I think we have done two on the 3rd times a charm one too but that was only because we wanted to do one each (Mine was yesterday and starts with "This has been written so beautifully, I've been..." and hers was last week and said "Waking up to this update was truly a treat. This is my...) but then right after I saw another Tumblr post complaining about 'fake nice reviews for wanting updates' and I felt like it was aimed at the one I did yesterday. Neither of us have ever commented on this story before this so if there's spams here it can't be any of us.
I mentioned it to my friend who I talk about jolex fan fiction and she said she also felt bad because she posted a review saying 'please update' on this and i think the hesitate story one on Ao3 as well but it was just the one and not multiple but i know there was complaints of someone posting a lot.
I agree that asking for updates can be frustrating and I will truly truly make sure to not add it into reviews in future because I didn't think about how it would be annoying but I understand it now, but I want you to know that I don't put nice comments on to be deceiving and get you to work harder it is really because I want you to know how good the fan fiction is
I wanted to suggest the possibility that its more than one person 'spamming' posting more than everyone else (I'm unfamiliar with how your reviews appear as the owner so you can maybe see its the same account and therefore i'm just stupid and wrong so sorry) but i think there are also some reviews that are not just one person and you just have a lot of fans... because whilst i did that comment on your other fanfic .i've only just discovered this so I know any spam on here must be someone else

I don't really know what i'm exactly trying to say but I guess I really want to continue commenting to let you know how much I genuinely appreciate the effort you put into it and enjoy it but I don't want it to seem fake and not kind because every time i've commented recently it seems to have sparked an unhappy response or general upsetness. i think you're really cool for writing these for people like my sister and me in your own time and i don't want to make you feel like that's not appreciated

I think its important you know that we're not ungrateful for it and you shouldn't feel like i as a reader doesn't get the value of it because you should be very proud of every single one of your fics , from now on we're signing all fics off as sister 1 & sister 2 so you know its two different

So beautifully written! I can’t wait until they find their way back together and picture their life together with Jo being a stepmom and them being all loving and frisky like young kids.

I 'hope' that soon after Jo comes back from Kansas her husband suddenly dies. She is devastated and in a lot of pain. After a few years the paths of Jo and Alex crosses again and now nothing is holding them back from being together. Alex is the perfect stepdad for Jo's kids and they live happily ever after.

Oh don’t mind me. Just over here sobbing my eyes out because my heart is aching at these two and the shitty situation that they’re in all because Greys writers thought Alex would leave Jo. This chapter was so beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. Curious to see how you end it.
