Reviews for Remote Control
Elim Garak chapter 3 . 12h
This chapter may need another pass-through. There are several places where you repeat the same word or phrase at the beginning and end of a sentence. E.g.:

"Well, if you're interested in getting more info about the Protectorate, there will be a meet and greet interview with the Wards and one of the actual Protectorate members tomorrow if you're interested?"

Also, there you may want to take it easy on summarizing the game. History of the Bureau, unless it is directly pertinent to the story, should be barely mentioned.
Hexenbiest chapter 3 . 19h
Oh my god, there's four in there... O.O
pastor chapter 3 . 7/21
the dlc is really interesting
SkyCaptain502 chapter 3 . 7/21
Hmm... I wonder if Taylor/Jesse will end up trying to "purge" a parahuman like she tried to do with a Hiss. Would it succeed? What would happen to the person if it does? What will happen if/when a shard or an entity itself gets infected by the Hiss? YOU ARE A WORM THROUGH TIME.
Monitor2o3 chapter 2 . 7/21
I personally would simply have given Taylor the items and leave the body unchanged. But mostly because it means not to have to deal with problems latter (subtle changes are bad. Major changes are surprisingly often ignored, but subtle changes you cannot really explain tend to produce a sort of uncanny valley effect. In fact, because they are so subtle, they are easier to spot. It is weird, counterintuitive but true. (Even slight changes in how you style your hair can be spotted by a lot of people that do not know you that well (but see you regularly (school, work)). Which means that they look at that and then decide what must have happened. Innocent explanation solves that issue, but subtle body change is more difficult to explain. If you do not want to deal with Sophia saying that you are an evil changer, with evidence to back it up (you changed, and she is trusted, to an extent), mind control the entire world into that being your real look. The good news is, that considering what Taylor wears generally, and who actually looks at her, that it is more difficult to spot than normal (she should not try to become a celebrity, that would be bad.).

I would recommend ignoring that part and simply say mind control explains it, if you want to have it (and thus have Jesse feel more natural, (better coordination, less retraining to do)).
Monitor2o3 chapter 3 . 7/21
Well, the Trio now tries to bully the equivalent to an elite special forces operator, who is accustomed to work without major support. Oh, and who is very, very difficult to suprise with fun effects like Shadow Stalkers power. By the way, could the gun hurt Shadow Stalker in the shadow state? It is capable of attacking a lot of things, it is beyond weird in its powers, so it should be possible (even if only due to transforming into a Taser :-))
Treant Balewood chapter 2 . 6/6
I really enjoyed reading this it's an interesting idea and I feel well executed so far, can't wait to see what you have planned. Thanks for Writing!
shakeablefoot chapter 2 . 5/15
So good look forward to more
NecrorexSparda Juubi-No-Kishin chapter 2 . 5/1
Very interesting and I'm honestly wondering what that weapon can do to an endbringer. I mean it's a concept given physical form! Also now that I bring it up I wonder what would happen if Jesse went into supernatural.
BattleUnit3 chapter 2 . 5/1
I like the nonshalant reaction of Jesse towards the situation. Like its just another inconvenience in the day of The Director. Which us absolutely true. She is the Director. She fought off two Hiss invasions one of which was at the age of 11. Weird stuff like this happens all the time. Just make a note of it to Polaris and we are done. You have captured her well.

Also i enjoyed the beginning with The Board speak [language/speech].

Would the red bakelite telephone make an appearance? I would think the Board would be quite [dissatisfied/cross/concerned] with fact their Director is not where they are supposed to be.
BattleUnit3 chapter 1 . 4/29
Control has such crossover potential. I am glad someone took it up. I am not familiar with Worm at all but i will be following this story.
AthanMortis chapter 1 . 4/29
Don't know if you're aware by the time you wrote this, but Marshall was revealed to have died in the Foundation DLC.

Otherwise, I'm interested. Didn't expect to find a Control crossover that grabbed my attention. Keep it up.
Shadow Stalker chapter 1 . 4/27
Good start.
ExploerTM chapter 1 . 4/27
Oh god all of my yes, was thinking about something similar myself.

By the way, isn't Former also hangs out in the Astral Plane, just in different part?

In Jesse's place I would've more worried to end up with the Clog or with the Mold lol, Polaris can't protect from those two I am pretty sure...

Oh, also would there be game mechanic that Jesse can easily eat rockets and bullets with her face and be fine with it, just sucking life out of her enemies later? Most of the gameplay features after all are part of canon.
SkyCaptain502 chapter 1 . 4/27
Havn't played Control myself, but I've heard good things. From what I understand, it is a very SCP Foundation inspired universe, something I am moderately familiar with. So far, the story is hitting a very good tone for me and I look forward to reading more!
