I'm really enjoying reading your story. I like how Rosier decides to help Harry, and I hope that even later in your story, he is still present in Harry's experiences of life. Will he be a sort of mentor to Harry in the ways of the Wizarding World, as no body else has seen fit to teach him? I'm glad he has someone to help. Interesting take on Harry being sorted into Slytherin. I hope you haven't abandoned this story completely as I would love an update. If nothing else, I'm very curious to know how Harry will honor his parents! Thanks for sharing.

I have heard the Name Rosier in other stories, but don't know who the family is. That is a real fault of mine. I think most of the first year or second year students got someone they didn't expect in Harry Potter. Not the least of which is Harry being sorted into Slytherin. I also think that Hate is a learned emotion as is bigotry. The Dursleys dislike anything that is not considered normal as bad. To them magic is bad, Therefore Harry is bad. Anything not British, be it language or food is bad. There is no middle ground for them. Thanks to Dumbledore, no one knows anything about Harry or his up bringing.
He is just a legend with a name. You haven't mentioned Dumbledore's thoughts on Harry being sorted into Slytherin. What does he think?How about Min, Felix?

I love this story! I can’t wait to find out how Harry decides to honor his family. I always love when Wizarding traditions and/or politics show up in stories. It’s a really interesting to way to explore more of the Harry Potter world!

Well, having just read ch 1 of Opportunity Knocks...that’s another reason for the Sorting Hat to barely touch Draco’s head to bellow Slytherin. It picked up his fear of the dark and didn’t want to cause a panic attack.

I would love to see more of this. I'm enjoying the thoughtfulness that Harry is putting forward.
