Bluenet13 chapter 20 . 11/10/2019 It took me a long time to get to reading this story. But it was always at the back of my mind and I was certain I would read it whenever I managed to find my way back to fanfic. And as I expected it was everything I wanted and more. Plan B is still my favorite episode and I can never get enough of Max Gentry so thank you for giving me what the show hasn't in a long time. As usual, your original characters were also magnificent and I would love to see McFadden and his team pop up in another story sometime. I was sad to see how Teague's story ended but truly enjoyed the ride with him and his developing friendship with Deeks for as long as it lasted. Now that I've finally read this, I can move onto Ukraine and start enjoying your current story. Fantastic job as usual and can't wait to read more of your stories! |
Kathy chapter 20 . 6/23/2019 Love all your stories..thanks |
Reader1976 chapter 20 . 11/24/2018 I read the ending 3 times as per usual. I loved that you played out the sailing into the sunset scene. I will remember this scene when the going gets rough! Great writing about Mosley’s comeuppance. I am very satisfied with SecNav and Vance. Her apology anf request for Deeks to return was also satisfying. When Deeks asked for respect...*sigh*. That was incredible. I was very happy to see Teague visit to say good bye to Deeks and tell him his real name. And as per usual, you threw a curveball. I had high hopes for Teague..but that is not to be. What a vivid technicolored story you wove. I enjoyed it immensely especially since I was able to binge read. I look forward to your next epic story. You are truly a talented writer and should be published or added to the NCISLA writers’ pool. Bravo, Bravo! Applause! Applause! |
Reader1976 chapter 19 . 11/24/2018 At the risk of sounding redundant...awesome chapter. I went immediately back and re-read this chapter. Sam is solid, I love Sam. I love that Deeks made the first move and forgave him and Sam’s response was equally powerful. That first move to get back to the normal made me teary-eyed. Sam was outstanding telling Mosley off, much better than my version. I loved it! And the scene with Emiri...well played. When Deeks found out about Emiri almost being shot...i felt his anguish...wow, really enjoyed all the emotions. And the teams plan to sail off into the sunset together made me smile (this will forever be my ending for the team when things go south)..yup...this was an awesome chapter! |
Reader1976 chapter 18 . 11/24/2018 Wow! I was expecting horrors...had to pour a glass of vino and take several sips before reading this chapter. You never disappoint. Wow. What Deeks endured is ALL on Mosley. |
Reader1976 chapter 17 . 11/24/2018 There’s a special place for Mosley. |
Reader1976 chapter 16 . 11/24/2018 How does Deeks do it? The loss of confidence in his team especially in Sam is disheartening. And to feel Deeks’s pain of being thrown out into the cold again...yet Deeks is the professional, always thinking, always a step ahead. The Callen scene was great. It was sad to see the team is falling apart from G’s perspective. |
Reader1976 chapter 15 . 11/24/2018 And the plot gets thicker. Mosley just keeps diggin’ her hole deeper... |
Reader1976 chapter 14 . 11/24/2018 Tears, just tear...and happy ones at the end. OMG, amazing. |
Reader1976 chapter 13 . 11/24/2018 Yes! Let’s go find Kensi and Emiri. Whew. Have to catch my breath. I find that i often stop breathing when I read yiur stories. Wow! Double wow! I sure hope Mosley gets her comeuppance. |
Reader1976 chapter 12 . 11/24/2018 This just went sideways! Yikes! |
Reader1976 chapter 11 . 11/24/2018 Most excellent. Your story weaving with its intricacies is truly amazing. Love that Mosley is losing respect from her team and Hetty’s awesome leadership is making them take notice. Not to mention that a way to an elite team is through their stomach. Hooray for Hetty! And so happy to see Kensi! I can literally feel Deeks relaxing when Kensi showed up. |
Reader1976 chapter 10 . 11/24/2018 That was intense. Mosley is gonna get Deeks killed! Good thing we have Hetty and her elite team. And we have our Deeks who thinks fast on his feet. I don’t blame Teague for his mistake because he assumed Mosley was thorough in her responsibilities in protecting her team. I hope Teague gives Mosley an earful after Deeks has his talk with him about never assuming anything. Bit that would be insubordination and clearly her “elite” team seems to be rule followers. Hmpf! I was afraid for Deeks and Teague. At least Hetty is in charge. Thank goodness for this turn of events. We need Kensi in the picture. |
Reader1976 chapter 9 . 11/24/2018 OMG on confirmation of the timing when Mosley assembled her own “elite” team. I have a few “choice “ words for Mosley that can’t be printed. Mosley’s arrogance and inexperience is showing. Who sends in their elite team with less than full disclosure? She gave fulll disclosure on Deeks to Teague...so only where our Deeks is concerned. Hmpf! At least Teague came clean on how Deeks read Yavuz and saved him and the operation. The ‘elite’ team seams ok in accepting Deeks. Not sure if Teague with his undercover background has ever faced sadistic arms dealers. And yikes...at least UN is helpful in giving Deeks and Teague a heads up. |
Reader1976 chapter 6 . 11/24/2018 Many Happy returns of the day to you or the birthday person! So great to have Eric On board. The reference to Yoda was the levity needed before everything started going dark. Teague is worrying me. And I love Kensi’s thoughts. Awesome chapter. |
