Your not wrong, and I have a theory of my own... the curse of Harrenhal. It's the only in setting explanation I can think of that would cause so many of the 'good guys' of the setting to seem like they have abysmal luck and low intelligence stats.

Lyanna would have to be brain damaged to not know what would happen when she ran off with a man she knew was married and had children. It was beyond hypocritical of her to whine that Robert wouldn’t be faithful once they were married then run off with another woman’s husband. I’m not a Cat fan in any way but the re-writing of history to make Lyanna a saint is bullshit. Rhaegar has more blame than Lyanna, that’s for sure, that doesn’t make her innocent. She’s partially to blame for the horrific ways her father, brother and brother’s friends died and the thousands of people that died during the rebellion. She and Rhaegar got what they deserved.

OH why have I never found this until now...I have searched and searched various time in differing tags of Tully bashing but only three/four fics show everytime. So much hate for them and yet why are fics of that hatred of hard to find. I am glad I found this though. Btw, the tag is not yet set to completed.

I always despised Catelyn Stark for taking her anger against her husband out on an innocent child, and holding a grudge for fifteen years ! Then she believed Littlefinger's lies and kidnapped Tyrion, thereby starting The War of the Five Kings, which destroyed her family. What a fool.

Oh man, please write a sequel to this, I BEG YOU. I'm sad that Arya and Sansa won't be born but, still, at least the bitch Catelynn got her commeupppance. :)

The North will be in a MUCH better position with a different Lady of Winterfell. Shame that Ned didn't marry Ashara, though she probably would have left him after he killed her brother.

Interesting story. And i am glad to find someone who shares the same opinion as me about Catelyn Tully. I never could stand her...

I do not like Tully. They are pretentious, arrogant and believe that they are much more intelligent than they are.
Edmure: weak, studpid and disloyal. He stayed married to a Frey! who knew about the massacre and he consumed it while all was being killed! What a miss!
Lisa: weak, stupid and crazy!
Catelyn: arrogant, stupid! We all know that it's true, the kidnapping of Tyrion who started the war, the release of the Kingslayers which caused Robb to lose many banners ...
Personally, I found it the most stupid in the education she gave to her children and in the religious problems she caused for Ned and the North. It is not devellopper in the series but say that I catholic wife a Muslim (rich and influential), I go to settle in his country practicing and makes me build a church and educates my children like Catholics, provides weddings to d other catholics. People do not see a problem? The Andals attacked and burned Firstman's places of worship and until the conquest the relationship was tense.
To believe that she wanted the Starks to lose the North from the beginning.
