I like that Gendry was able to comfort Arya and that she was the one to kiss him. I love that Arya does what she wants.

I am surprised that Drogon's wing was damaged so that he cannot fly. I had not expected that. I hope they recover Heartsbane as it is a valyrian steel sword. I am very surprised that Jon and Dany don't go ahead and wed so that the baby is born to wedded parents. It's not so hard to stand before a heart tree and say vows and there has been some minor downtime.

I was not expecting you to kill Bran. But I am glad that his death saves Arya and Jon.

I am sorry to see Tormund go out like this. I rather like that he survived in the show. I actually liked him better than Jamie because he looked at Brienne with awe and amazement from the beginning, unlike Jamie and most other men. I liked that about him.

Pleaseee come back! This has been better than the actual season 8 and made me feel so much better.

So I started this story after watching the premier last night. I'm enjoying your version more. The plot makes more sense, the characters are better written and developed, the dialogue is more real and interesting and. Smart. You're incredibly talented. Just wanted to let you know :)

I honestly really liked this. It kept true to the characters and wasn't exactly outlandish. Most of the fics I've seen nowadays in this series are a bit out of character not to mention lighthearted which, in game of thrones of all things, just throws the readers out of the flow because there's hardly anything light in the show and people die left and right. This story kept true to that concept which I greatly appreciated and enjoyed. It also help that it was written in a serious and suspenseful tone.

This isn't a criticism but have to ask: is it weird reading and writing about Arya Stark and, in some stories like this one, her relationship with Gendry? For instance, she grows up a helluva lot in GoT. However, what I've seen which sort of became a trend is that once the Starks are reunited (before, during, or after season 7 via time travel or something like that in writing), it feels like Sansa and Jon takes the main stage and Arya is now backstage which, strangely enough, suits her profession. And yet, she needs more spotlight and I enjoyed how you wrote Arya. I was very satisfied and glad she wasn't case aside or something.

In regards to Gendry, I could never wrap my head around that pairing. It might be because I could never see any of the Stark ladies being with someone because it doesn't feel right to have any romance for them. Or it could be because their suitors have some claim to the throne, one way or another, and I'm just tired of reading about those type of things. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on that though.
