Actually, now that I think about it, Conan never really pursue Id in his civilian life, huh. Like, he never think about him except when the Heist is on the way (I know it mostly because Magic Kaito and Detective Conan are two different manga but still)
So I think Conan's rule in this fanfic of yours is not much of a headcanon, but canon. That so chivalrous of him XD

Eh... For future reference... CPR actually treats two things, lack of heart beat and lack of breathing, due to its two unique parts. The chest compressions are to manually contract the heart and thus does very little for the lungs. The mouth to mouth bit does the breathing for them, and does nothing for the heart. Therefore, a person with a heart beat does not need chest compressions, and a person who has no breath does need mouth to mouth.
Also... Any hit to the head that renders a person unconscious will undoubtedly have given them a concussion.
That aside, I enjoy your interaction of Shinichi and KID, and the setup of your plot.
