yay! I love John right now. I hope George will find his candor and speak openly with Emma. I really can't wait to see Emma and Amy's relationship developing though. They are just too adorable. I did wonder how Amy's mother would feel about Emma buying her daughter all these things that she herself hasn't been able to provide. (whether she'd be grateful, or feel it's too much charity, or feel bitter...) oh well, I look forward to seeing where the branches of this story lead you.

I just got hired at a new job myself. I'm on furlough with my other job, so I've got to try to have something to pay the bills. I am excited about it though. I think your new job sounds very fulfilling and I wish you the best of luck!

What I'm LOVING right now is the new Julian Fellowes show Belgravia. I've been listening to the book on Audible, but I'm enjoying the tv series now as well. I'm a HUGE fan of Downton Abbey, so while this is different, it's similar enough that I'm greatly looking forward to it.

Loved this chapter, could see how George is truly feeling. At least it seems he doesn’t think there is anything going on between Emma and Frank.

Awesome chapter. So nice to see Emma writing something that gave John something to latch onto. I loved younger brother John giving George advice but it almost seems to be too much of a turn-around for John because the last time they spoke about the whole situation he was so negative about it.

I hope they talked soon

i keep hoping an update has come as I really enjoy this work. I feel like almost an injury is going to be needed to get Mr Knightley back on track :o

I’ve just come across this story and I love it! You capture the characters of Knightley and Emma really well, flaws and all, which for both people are so closely tied to their strengths - K’s upright morality can also be judgmental and inflexible, and E’s lively joie de vivre can also be impetuous and thoughtless. Looking forward to more.

I feel like George is so insecure that everytime Emma tries to tell him she loves him his brain just tells him it means something else.

Really great work but I would love more clarity on how Emma dealt with his gutting remarks on her not having children. Some confrontation with him of that end would be soooo juicy. Update soon please!

I love this so so much! I am so enthralled, I’m a huge Austen fan and Emma has always been my favorite! Seen every film adaptation and read the book countless times. Even have it on audiobook. This is such a lovely adaptation that stays true to the characters of the book while taking a whole new spin! Box Hill and all that transpired killed me! All the feels! And Knightley! His reactions and emotions are gutting because he misunderstands so much about Emma and her actions yet I’m so frustrated with him because if he would just talk to her and LISTEN he’d be spared so much pain. I want him into suffer a little because he’s being kind of an arse. I want this to go on forever! To see them reconcile and then navigate being married and in love and then have babies and be parents. It’s a beautiful world and I’m always so thrilled with each new chapter. This is my birthday week so I consider this my favorite gift! Thanks so much for brightening up this little corner of the world.
