This is a masterpiece and I'm crying. I liked the detail abt the ocean waves especially.

this made me cry! your prose is really emotive without being overwrought or too flowery. i liked the depiction of sayu too, its rare to see 3d female chhracters in death note fic, or canon for that matter.

Sad. I love Light so much and loathe L. I was hoping that when L left Ryuk would come back with another random notebook and give it to Light, who would, of course, make the deal so he could see again, at the very least. And then, he'd control the guards and stuff to let him out. And then kill L. Violently and painfully for putting Light through this torture!

Also, Sayu should marry Ryuk. Because it's funny. And Rem and Gelus found love! So why not let Ryuk love someone!? He seemed to care about Misa in a pitying way (thought bubbles in the manga prove this, it's never addressed in the anime), but not love. So...he should love Sayu!

cute. kid should die in a bon fire and dont tellt he family anything elt them think it was a mugging or something? considering they dont go in DETAIL who he considered criminals and the implications lazy people would be on the list... well. hell after L goes out he devolves even WORSE as its shown so there is that. which perfectly makes sense so good for that.

but fun stuff really. I enjoy L victories more then Light going onwords for victory defeating the supernatural power and nothing going exactly right on him.

The Yagami family deserved a lot more - and Light, as horrible as he may be, represents the faults of humans so well. It's hard to remember sometimes that he is human at all, amplified by so much negatives and escaping all the positives in his own story. You write them beautifully.

Also, um, I would like to point out that Light touching a part of the Death Note and hearing Ryuk would actually cause him to have his memories again. Unless after the sixth time that he gave up the ownership and his memories of the Death Note, the seventh time won't bring back any memories anymore.

But it's still a really good story btw.
