Hello! I just wanted you to know how much I LOVE this story! Being a partially blind FF reader and writer, it's kind of hard for me to read blindfics, especially with Harry, as he/she tends to be WAY overpowered to the point he/she might as well not be blind at all. However, you gave her power tastefully here. You also tactfully touched on some major downsides and anxieties related to blindness, most of which I've felt personally to some degree or another.
Especially when I was in elementary school there were definitely sort of pity acquaintances who were nice to my face then decided it'd be funny to pretend to be each other by switching voices. Kids would hand me a bag full of wood chips on popcorn day to see if I'd fall for it, so the best I could do was laugh and dump them out in front of them.
Entering college and the workplace, it'd sometimes enter my mind ... is what I'm doing good enough, or just blind person good enough? There's this sort of feeling of needing to be so much better, and work so much harder to be perfect, at least for me personally, I'm a bit of a perfectionist LOL! Anyway, Harry's struggle with choosing a career, worrying about if she's a good student or a pitiable one, and realizing she has jerk friends felt real. There are some really neat things about blindness: the ability to read in the dark, for one thing, and in the car/when moving, but also downsides. You made those real without pouring on the poor me angst.
Harry and Bill balance each other out beautifully in this. I know it's one of your much older fics, but I hope you come back to it some day!

And then Remus walked in to ask Bill for a book, saw them and started growl/yelling for Sirius, who came running and began firing hexes at Bill. XD

That doesn't sound like Ron and Hermione. But I'm glad Harry and Bill have each other. McGonagall needs to retire if she's going to treat students like she treated harry for being blind.
