Hi, I remember the scene with Dwayne, Tony asking but not telling. I really got to liken Bonnie. Somehow I'm not surprised Tony is still thinking about that long ago crime against Bonnie. I like him a lot the way you describe him.

I had read this story of yours once before and I greatly loved it. It is easy to picture something like this happening in Tony's past to cause him to go into police work. WE all hear about how he had run into a burning building to try and save to children, he was able to save the boy but could not reach his sister. This would have let you to believe that Tony would have become a fireman unless something else had happened to cause his to change the line of work he chose once his pro career ended before it could even start.
