Ok, the end of this chapter made me tear up a bit. Morticia told Hermione about a part of herself that was dangerous, frightening and has a good chance of scaring people off and ending friendships because she was concerned for her safety. She put Hermione first. For someone who has never had a real friend before in their life, having a peer who is already becoming a friend put her safety first at risk to her own happiness is valuable beyond measure. Seriously, you knocked it out of the park with the subtext in that scene
