Really good story. Well written

This story is an excellent portrayal of the aftermath of all the loss and horror Spock has experienced through the end of the second movie. It's a shame the third movie doesn't quite lend itself to what we saw building between Jim and Spock in the first two movies. Simon Pegg took it off into a very different direction. It was good, but didn't lend itself to the Kirk and Spock relationship as much.

This entire story was a great idea, very well told. It would've been so even w/out the "Spock tracking Khan" thing but I for one am so thrilled it was there. That was one my favorite scenes in the movie and I don't think there have been enough fics addressing Jim finding out. So double thanks!
