Hawaiichick chapter 1 . 12/7/2016 How wonderful! It was so awesome to see how you featured everyones nervous ticks. I didn't know I needed this story in my life until now. So happy you wrote this! |
Guest chapter 1 . 11/6/2016 You use dialogue so well to propel the story amd reveal the characters. Your phrasing is compelling. Your choices as to where to begin the piece and where to leave off is captivating! You really are so very readable! |
GingietheSnap chapter 1 . 7/19/2016 This was remarkably good. You conveyed so much in so few words. I could picture them all doings their ticks. |

Pericula Ludus chapter 1 . 12/23/2015 Always appreciate a bit of Athos whump! Gotta hurt your darlings. Lovely little insight into their various habits. I particularly enjoyed Porthos in this, catching Aramis' hands, holding him together, and then Aramis passing that on to Athos in the end. |
Guest chapter 1 . 9/8/2015 This was so good. The anxiety really came through. I love how you portray them. |

SupernaturalGeek chapter 1 . 5/12/2015 I remember reading this before and loving it; I must apologise for not reviewing at the time (I cannot recall now what interrupted me before I could). This was a wonderful character study and you captured all of them perfectly, particularly Aramis. It is indeed true that he doesn't flinch, even around musket fire, but it's also true he has a number of other nervous ticks. Like dragging his fingers through those curls when he's stressed :) I loved the fact it was him who saved Athos and that he did so in another way at the end, when he gave Athos something else to hold onto, something less toxic than M'Lady's legacy. I should also add that I enjoyed seeing Porthos in protective mode, of both Athos and Aramis, and poor D'Artagnan, worried about them too but still finding his feet when it comes to deciphering their personalities and how they react under pressure. A lovely read :) |
Guest chapter 1 . 5/3/2015 This is so good. You got the characters' movements and ticks down perfectly. |
Sweet Lu chapter 1 . 4/30/2015 I am so struck by your writing, its gentle cadence mesmerizing and intriguing, pulling me into the hearts of the men you write so beautifully about. |
