Envoy is honestly one of my favourite stories in the series. Granted, they all are to some extent, but Neck stealing a James Bond car when he was two? *pause* Alright, almost three and he didn't actually steal it, but still!

Great one shot! I feel bad for how bad they’d treated Neal, even if for the right reasons. It’s sad how some things can set a person down and spiraling and it’s even worse if they have a child with them. However I’m glad Ellen was there to help, both Meredith and Neal really needed that. I can’t wait to start reading Caffrey Flashback! I believe that may definitely be my favorite book in this series and I haven’t even read it yet lol.

As much as I love the overall concept of your universe and what you write about Neal's present life, I find it difficult to imagine Neal's mother as the daughter of an ambassador, especially considering you kept alive all the canon events with Witsec and the dirty cop affair. The grandfather is an ambassador and he lets his two daughters marry simple cops (not even officers)? As a high ranking diplomat, would he really have taken no part in the handling of the aftermath of the murder by James? The trouble was written in the stars... In canon I never got the impression the characters had extended families, so to me it feels far-fetched and I can't connect easily with that aspect of your creation.
Don't take it as criticism of your (well crafted) universe but just my personal feelings. I will still stay onboard and enjoy mainly the case solving parts and the growing bond between Neal and the Burkes.

I have been reading the series since I was captivated by The Caffrey Conversation but I have been terrible about reviewing. I plan to come back to review, as a reader should, because it's the only way I have to express my enthusiasm and appreciation.

These are really great stories. The characters are excellent and the plot is amazing. I don't know how you (and Silbrith) can put together such coherent, engaging story lines.

This was wonderful too. Neal meets his godfather and hears a cute story about happier times. He learns who his grandparents are. Peter gets to see Neal with someone new who cares about him and wants him to embrace the family. A bit overwhelming but Neal can play it.

The car! Maybe we'll see it again. This was great. Thanks for the author's notes too, always welcome.

Mozzie has Mozart and Neal has Henry both stuffed animals connect them to the lives they should have had if fate was kinder I'm glad Neal has one decent parent Meredith is even more damaged than her son I pity her as much as I don't like what she did to Neal she was left adrift by the Marshals should have given her more help with her new life Neal really is Henry's little brother

Finally I have some time to get back into this series. I love this! He stole a freaking car when he was two!

I like the idea of the great caffrey family. it would be cool if neal could meet, know his cousins ...
and with a bit of action, obviously.

Neal's extended family seem great (except Robert, of course, seem neither sister is good in choosing partners). Sad though how much Neal had had missed in his life. Wonder what his mother would have said about all this?
It's amazing that Neal it not more bitter about this and can still be mostly optimistic person. At least he has a chance now to get back some of what was taken from him, obviously more than once. And he has Peter too, kinda sweet how protective Peter has become on Neal.
