so my head doesn't explode. every time anything positive is said about the sociopathic moron that is Rheagar, I'm going to bleep it out so I can enjoy the story. Rheagar was not a good guy, people need to realize that he was only using Lyanna. she might have fallen for him, but Rheagar never loved anyone. in fact there's a lot of implication that he possibly was the cause of many of his mother's miscarriages. also unless lyanna was a massively hypocritical selfish bint. she would have never willingly stayed at the tower upon hearing about her father and brothers deaths. stop idolizing the man who caused the deaths of hundred thousands of people because of a stupid riddle in a book. George write him to appear as the stereotypical prince charming. you know what he's done with most other trope characters.

I really like Jaime in this chapter.

I'm enjoying this variation! I love stories which feature set-up of war, for some reason: the negotiation of alliances, the organisation of defenses, the planning and preparation. And honestly, the Seven Kingdoms will be much better off with Ned and Jon in power than Robert and the Lannisters. So I really hope this will work out that way, though I'm also looking forward to how you'll resolve the prompt of Robert recognizing Jon as Lyanna's rather than Rhaegar's!

This is very interesting, I do believe that dorne is plaing a long game, Catelyn is right to be worried. Maybe she can try bethrothing Sansa to pince Trystine?

You have a good story but chapter 5 is where i stopped reading because it seems everyone hates Robert and i am sick of the bullshit of it was he blinded by anger yes but so many people judge him harshly and you don't consider the fact everyone assumed that Ned's sister was kidnaped I will not say her name because I think she is a stupid freaking idiot her stupidity caused the death of so many innocent people and you can argue that Robert and Ned then have to fight their King but then again he was the Mad King for a reason he burnt people alive they had the choice fight him and live or be executed because only a dumbass would believe that he would not have killed them

I love Jaime’s “I have a king to serve” comment.
