The once sweet and innocent Princess Dot grows into a power-hungry monarch after finding out that her nieces are taking her place in line for the throne. Jealousy consumes her as she overthrows her sister and takes over the island, unaware of the conspiring of a new rebellion.

An accident has left Dim, a shy rhinoceros beetle, alive. Rosie, a black widow spider, has something to tell Dim. Flik, his mate, Queen Atta, and their sister-in-law, Princess Dot, had a secret about the new heir to the throne. The other circus bugs are hoping to hear that, including Rosie, but will Dim succumb to his cuts? NO INSULTING! Rated K for romance and family.

On an isolated island lives a kingdom of ant/human people who struggle to harvest enough food for themselves and their allies, the Grasshoppers. After a young and clumsy inventor causes an incident that puts the kingdom at risk, he is sent on a quest to make an alliance with warriors. But when he unknowingly brings home street preformers, he and the new allies must keep up the act.

Two royal heirs born on opposite sides of the world begin to feel the connection that has been with them since birth. With an arranged marriage and a possible upcoming war between kingdoms, the search for each other becomes increasingly difficult.

A few seasons before his downfall on Ant Island, Hopper is at his peak. He takes over another territory and marries the regent's daughter to solidify the alliance. The couple aren't thrilled with the arrangement at first, but they find a mate in one another as they venture to other territories including Ant Island, deal with opposing groups, and hold their lands in times of danger.

Flik may have screwed up Hopper's plan to regain control of the colony, but then a certain small princess stumbles into the grasshopper's clutches and he's not going to let her go until he has what he wants. Re-imagined ending to A Bug's Life, inspired by a piece of concept art.
