To put things frankly, he's old. Positively ancient. He's seen stars be born and seen stars die (though not the same stars, he's not quite THAT old) and being impressed by anything is difficult when you've seen it all before. A character study of Dean Warlic, through the lens of the fact that apparently nothing ever impresses him.

The habit started back when he was in the SDF, he knows that much, and it's neve really gone away since. The thing is... Sys-Zero never, ever says goodbye.

It turns out that Sys-Zero has a bit of an... interesting reaction to painkillers.

Sys-Zero and Jaania first met when they were both still students at GEARS themselves. As far as first impressions go, there's nothing quite like dumping a can of energy drink into a cup of coffee, cheerfully declaring that the resultant concoction will probably kill you and then downing it in one go.
