Raziel had never seen anything like it. Nothing like this desolate land whose only feature was that dark, ominous labyrinth, battered by the winds as thunder roared in the distance. And at the centre of that neverending maze, lay the nest of the fire Raziel had been looking for, its core burning with a hatred born from smouldering coals and grown into heaving, infernal flames.

The fate of Nosgoth hangs in the balance. The Divus, furious over the destruction of their city, are sweeping Nosgoth clean of all life which could oppose them and the launching of the Ark into the ether of the universe. Kain must bring the races of Nosgoth together under one banner, restore the Pillars and finally achieve his true destiny.

Kain has raised the first of his brood, now he just needs to keep him alive long enough for him to become useful.

With the Legacy of Kain series possibly discontinued all the characters need a place to live. That's about 50 in total if not more. What happens when you have that many creatures etc. living in a three story house with rules and human host's? I do not own LOK but the Kramers are mine R&R Chapter 6!

Raziel asks one of the most awkward questions a child can ask a parent.

At a time before Soul Reaver 1, Kain learns of the Chronochamber and peers into the secrets that lie within.

During Blood Omen Two: The Serefan Keep, Kain starts to suspect Vorador is lying to him.

Raziel makes a mistake and must deal with the consequences.

Kain educates his brood on hunting. His methods are ... questionable.

This is essentially my first serious piece. I had an idea for this series of stories while working on another story in the same vein. What I'm doing with these echoes is fleshing out the boss characters from the game Soul Reaver. While doing research I found it somewhat odd in how each character died. As if they let it happen. So here I give the first of about five echoes. Enjoy.

"Kain will come back. He will not have forgotten that I am here, waiting faithfully. My lord will return. One day." Charting the rise and fall of Kain's empire through the eyes of an unknown firstborn.

Jazz writes all the hylden lore. A post-Defiance continuation starring: Elder Kain trying to learn responsibility, Vorador whom has no idea what is happening & just wants to go home, Ariel fulfilling her sassy, sassy potential, and Raziel: exorcised and kind of mad about it. And a ton of plot npcs! and Hylden! Its a lot.

Spurred on to outdo his brothers Raziel attempts something foolish.

This story was inspired by the brilliant Legacy of Kain game series, what happens when a powerful vampire lord becomes a more powerful Blood Lord who seeks not only to enslave mankind but also to bring the various vampire clans under his heel?

While inside the Reaver Raziel meets a strange girl who seems to know him. But who is she? And why won't she leave him alone? Set post-defiance. Be nice, it's my first fic.

Janos Audron, last of the Winged Vampires and the Tenth Guardian.
