This is a prologue to a much larger story I am currently working on. This is basically a brief plot summary of Ace Combat 5. *Warning Spoilers* If you haven't played the game I do recommend you read more about the series and its lore. *All characters and plot expressed in said prologue belong to Project Aces and Bandai Namco*

Little stories regarding my fan squadron. I try to be as canon-compliant as possible. Don't expect to see other canon characters show up other than in passing/brief cameos. The first two chapters are somewhat "connected." Chapter dates and times will most likely not be in chronological order, not that it particularly matters since each chapter can be its own standalone vignette.

Jason Banks became a mercenary for Ustio when he dropped out of the Belkan Air Force because of the Rald Party's growing power. When Belka started taking over all the surrounding lands, it was Jason and his wingmen that stopped them and changed the tide of battle. Until ten years later, no one knew it was him. Now he's choosing to tell his niece and nephew. This is his story.

This story is rated T, but can content some M rated chapter with some depicted violent scenes.
