After over half a century of dealing with attacks from creatures called Kaiju, the nations of the world decided to come up with a way to combat these creatures instead of relying on Japan solely. What the other nations created together were these machines called Jaegers while Japan had its own called Mechas with a rivalry between the two groups. Though unknown to world an impending invasion is getting ready which might force the humans to work together with the enemies they've fought for years.

In the year 2029, the Earth was no longer able to support the population and around 75% of the people were killed in the resulting cataclysmic event. This also caused all countries to fall to anarchy. Now, 130 years later, the whole world is part of Amicitiam and the world has advanced even further than it was before the fall.
