It has been five years since the events of Crooked Kingdom took place and the Wraith has become one of the most notorious haunts of the sea hunting slavers and setting people free. She knew the had created an impressive caliber of enemies, she just didn't realize they might go after Kaz to get at her. She gravely underestimated her opponents and Kaz will suffer for that mistake.

In which Wylan and Jesper have a drink, leading to Jesper sharing a few emotional things that Wylan certainly didn't know before.

The first chapter is just what I think Inej meeting her parents would be like after the Crooked Kingdom. Then, I'm thinking of continuing the story.

Nina's in Ravaka, Inej is happy with her family, Jesper and Wylan are living in the Van eck mansion, and Kaz is still one of the most feared Barel bosses in Ketterdam. with there small fortune they each went there separate ways. until a mysterious man comes to Inej,with a job of a life time. "Call up Kaz, we got a job"

Jesper takes Wylan out for a night.

The heart is an arrow, it requires aim to land true. But when it comes to Kaz Brekker, Inej's sense of aim always seems to abandon her. Stuck with the pain and fallout from her past, Inej must decide what she wants from her future... And whether that future includes a certain Ketterdam crime boss. Rated T, that may change. Wylan wants the gang to play a board game, but they keep getting distracted. Nina has a big announcement, Inej stands up to Kaz, Matthias is confused and Jesper is just his usual self. A light-hearted scene between my six favourite characters.

Kaz Brekker has taken everything from Per Haskell. After the events of Crooked Kingdom, Haskell hides away in his hotel room, stewing from his loss, he reflects on what went wrong, how he failed to see Dirtyhands coming. Title inspired by the song, "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid" by the Offspring.

The Shu have been experimenting and now everyone can see the ghosts that haunt people. This wouldn't be a problem, except that Jordie isn't as dead as he should be. Or; the one where Kaz is haunted by Jordie's ghost and now all the crows can see him.

Unfortunately for Wylan Van Eck, legally changing his last name would be asking for his father to kill him. On the bright side, renaming himself 'Wylan Eck' for the next couple of years in college was totally do-able. The laughter would fade eventually.
