I'll say that I hate spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes. They annoy me to no end. I highlight what I change, and I suggest where it's not exactly necessary. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I have an eye for mistakes in grammar, mechanics, spelling, and punctuation. On top of that I do cast a critical eye for word usage. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Cheesiness -- it's just that I have a problem with some stories I've written before; although this is fanfiction, I am on the whole dissatisfied. I'm not that fast a beta-reader either. It actually depends on the length of the fanfiction. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I'm not picky on reading but I love fantasies and mysteries the most. Anything fiction is great. Action is nice. Romance...well, there's a lot of it here, and I do like to read it at times -- just think more about the relationships. Really, I'd like to beta for fandoms I know; and even if I'm asked for one I don't, I'd still beta it. |
