Well, I like to read a lot and I like to give constructive criticism. I'm not particularly biased in what I read but I do PREFER third person past tense as far as fiction goes. Prefer is the key word there. Sometimes, I read very good stories written in the first person point of view or even the present tense. I do like to read detailed stories, not ones with one line paragraphs. Some is okay, since it's hard to put dialogue into a story without having a few one liners.

Mostly, I am very firm in checking that all the grammar is correct in a story. And writing style (consistency, mainly). As far as writing my stories, I think I'm very strong in coming up with plot twists and keeping the plot interesting.

I don't particularly do well in the putting down. Of course, to make up for that, I just give the person I'm reviewing suggestions on how to improve. Now, in writing, especially fanfictions, I tend to sometimes get somewhat out of character. I've improved this over the years, luckily and always work at it even more or just give an acceptable reason for the character behaving strangely.

Well, I'm better at constructively reading fanfictions and fantasy but most types will do.

Angst I will not enjoy reading. It's too emotional for me. And sacrilegious stories. I'm not fond of those at all.
