My name is Kelsey and I've been a part of fanfiction.net for almost four years now. I'm not sure I have a set reading style but when I go through a story I look for things that intrest me, character portrayal, and frankly how hard you worked. A lot of my time over the last few years has been dedicated to reading and helping friends with fanfiction and regular fiction and I'm ready to expand. I don't think there's any story that I would turn down for reasons other than I truly don't know enough about the genre to give accurate feed back. If you do choose me as a beta reader however all I ask is that you are respectful to me. If you think that I've given you bad advice or have missed the point of your writing, just explain why you feel that way. Don't be a jerk to me because of it.

If you have something dark, I'm your girl. I excel at finding and personifying the faults of the world. Also I'm able to take on and see the world from the different perspectives of others. What seems like one thing to someone, is almost always something completely different to someone else. Last but not least I'm a grammar nazi. Each and everything I write or beta read goes through the spell and grammar check at least three times.

Speed is definately one of my greatest weaknesses as both a beta reader and a writer. I do my work to the best of my ability but not always as quickly as possible. I like to take my time, and some times it can take a long time for me to reach a comfortable level. I'm an active person, I'm still in school, I play volleyball and I'm planning to get life guard certification soon so time isn't always on my side.

I prefer to beta mainly anime because that's where most of my experience lies, but I also enjoy reading over cartoons, TV shows, books and cross overs. Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Wolfs Rain, Trigun, and MAR are a few of the animes that I'm am very comfortable and familiar with.

I'm not a great beta for crack fictions. I love them I really do, but I'm self concsious when I read over them because I'm not sure if mistakes are there for comical reason or if they are just mistakes. It's hard for me to read them with the intent of bettering them.
